Operating Instructions

Speed Control System (If Equipped)

1) Indicator Light

'ON' illuminates on the Indicator when the Speed Control System is on.

2) ON/OFF Button

Press once to turn the Speed Control System on. When activated, 'ON' will illuminate on the Indicator Light (1). Press again to turn the system off. Note: The Speed Control System will be turned off automatically when the ignition is turned off.

3) Resume/Coast Lever

Push the Resume/Coast Lever upward to activate Resume, push downward to activate Coast.

• Resume: If you press the brake pedal or the clutch pedal while the Speed Control System is on, the system will be suspended. To return to the speed you had set, push and hold Resume/Coast Lever upward for approximately one second and then release. The vehicle will gradually return to the previously set speed and then maintain it. Note: To resume the speed you had before, you must be driving at least 25 mph (40 km/h).
• Coast: Coast allows you to reset the Speed Control System to a lower speed. To reset to a lower speed, push and hold the Resume/Coast Lever downward until the vehicle slows to the desired speed, then release. The set speed will be set where you released the Resume/Coast Lever.

4) Set Acceleration Button (Not Shown)

The Set Acceleration Button allows you to set the Speed Control System's programmed speed. To set:

1. Press the Speed Control ON/OFF Button (2).
2. Accelerate to the desired speed. The speed must be at least 25 mph (40 km/h) in order for the Speed Control System to activate.
3. Once at the desired speed, press the Set Acceleration Button to set the current speed.
4. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal. Your vehicle should maintain the speed you set.

When the vehicle speed is set, you can reset the Speed Control System to a higher speed using the Set Acceleration Button. Press and hold the Set Acceleration button until the vehicle accelerates to the desired speed, then release the button.

Note: If you want to momentarily accelerate to a higher speed, manually accelerate using the accelerator pedal. This will not interfere with the set speed. When you take your foot off the accelerator pedal, the vehicle will return to the set speed.

Note: Do not shift to Neutral when using the speed control. This will cause the engine to overspeed.

Note: To suspend the Speed Control System and regain control over the vehicle's speed, press the brake pedal or the clutch pedal. You can then resume to the set speed by using pushing the Resume/Coast Lever (3) upward.

Note: When driving up a hill, especially with a heavy load, significant speed drops may occur. If the speed drops more than 8 to 14 mph (13-23 km/h), the Speed Control System will automatically cancel.
