Default Inertia Switch?

I think finding this will help my car stay running. One problem. I don't know where it is.. Anyone know? Thanks in advance (1991 Probe Gt)

it is in the trunk on the drivers side. its right next to the rear wiper fluid resevoir tank. held in by i think 1 bolt somewhere thats maybe a 12mm if i remember right.

I would start it. It would sit and idle for about 15-20 seconds then die. If I pressed on the gas, it would die. We just figured out that there is a wire that fell off of the switch.

once upon a time we tore my stich apart and made the contacts work on it. hatch leaks tho so sometimes the switch would be under water and kill the connections. so now i just have the wires put together with a male and female crimp connector.

was tired of it dying while driving.

If the inertia switch ground is compromised, than the automatic seat belts shouldn't be working either (locked in 'back' position.)

could be getting clogged so when u need the extra gas when u throttle it, it can't flow through quick enough.

i say do inertia and then just see how it is.

Thats what I'm going to do. Hopefully replacing it in the next fuel days. I still have to get the radiator on.

I have never hard a filter clog up before and sease an engine from running.....
kind of sounds like a vane air flow senser to me.....try pulling codes yet??...
you can also bypass the inertia switch.
