turbo upgrade
Pulled the intake off of the turbo and found 1/2 inch of shaft play. Instead of going with a rebuild or tbird hybrid, i want to upgrade a bit to at least a t3. my concern is the fuel system, and ecu. can they handle the upgrade. i got a guy to weld the vband onto the existing downpipe.

something along the lines of this. I know you have probably heard ebay turbochargers are the suck, but cx racing makes quality stuff, I've ordered a bunch from them.

There's some talk of CX Racing products in another thread, but I can't remember which one.

i know a few people who are running their turbos with no problems at all. I have run 2 of their turbos, intercoolers, piping kits, and bovs with 0 problems.

Yep, they seem to have good reviews. SO far all of the info I've got points to using a 60trim T3, but you'll need a chip and a bigger fuel pump.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like a helluva deal for a turbo w/ these specs.

Then you must have a chiped ECU and some form of a boost controler already... 16psi is plenty for the stock turbo.

Well, there's sport/normal/soft... I couldn't tell much of a diff either. And mine is useless now, since I changed my suspension.

well i bought this from some guy. i dont know if he did anything to it or not. so your saying that 16 psi is high enough can the motor not handle anymore. the guy has stock everything intake, exhaust, air filter. what u think
