Default klze intake manifold

Once again, another argument at work. If you take the KLZE intake manifold off and place it on a regular v6 manual tranny motor, will it help power wise? I am saying no, he is saying yes!

not much if you just slap it on. the mis matched ports will hurt about as much as the better flow of the manifold itself helps.

if you had a set of pheno spacer's, and port matched them, then you would see alot better of a gain.

Okay, so sounds like I was wrong, where do you find these pheno spacers?

they dont sell them port matched though. so you will have to buy a set for the DE oval port heads. then port them on one side to match the square ports. i just bolt the spacers to the intake manifold, and port them by hand. takes about 15-20 min to do both. and isnt that technical. a die grinder, or dremel can do it also.

pheno spacers are something very common. ive been using them for a good 6 years on all my cars. they def help keep the temps down on the manifold

I twould add maybe 5 - 10 hp. I think its not even worth it bc you push your hp ranger alot higher with the klze manifold. I would say the money is better off spent elsewhere.
