Default mattkane123's first GT project

Alright, in case some hadn't heard, I had been planning on buying DangerDave's white 89GT as a project car. Well yesterday I finally towed it home from Medford, OR, round trip of 600 miles.
So immediately when I got there, it hasnt been washed in a year probably,
the tires are all low but the fronts are new,
it has no plug or coil wires,
the battery looks useless,
it has the bumper and hood from a GL
has some quite shotty stereo wiring goin on and holes in the hatch cover for 6x9's,
and a bad headgasket. All of this was expected, but thats the condition of the car.
it's got a dent on the passenger side like my GL, but the cladding is missing a hook.
makes it look like the door is misaligned lol.

So today I threw my optima in it and my GL's plug wires to see if I could get it going.
Well I was able to test all the electronics. all the lights work which is nice.
However, I was not able to get it to crank. voltage was steady around 13 volts on the car's voltmeter.
I was told that you can hear a click from the starter solenoid, but it wont crank.
battery is known good, it drove me home from work in the GL this morning.

I've still got to pull some fuses and clean um up, but thats about it.
I also need to check the fuel pump. the car was sitting for a long time so it might be gummed up. I can't hear the fuel pump with the key at on. so the gas in the car may have turned to sludge. Dave said to check the fuel pump shutoff because he had an issue with it before, I will do that tuesday if the weather cooperates.

so, ON TO THE PICS!

found this on the firewall. looks aftermarket. not sure though as it has a factory looking loom on it, anybody help me ID this?
