Coil Installation

Covers:

The first generation Probe GT uses a non-standard coil as part of its ignition system. Because of this, there are no direct fit upgrades for the coil. However, an aftermarket coil can be installed by simply cutting the coil's wires and lengthening them.

  6. Connect the yellow wire (negative) to the negative side of the new coil.
