six connect the distributor to the spark plugs, and the seventh connects the
distributor to the ignition coil.
Overview
To
remove the spark plug wires, first twist the boot to break any seal present.
Then grip the midsection of the boot (around where the connector is internally)
and gently pull while twisting. When replacing the spark plug wires, it's best
to work by removing and replacing them one by one, starting with the longest
wire first. This insures that there is no mistakes made in the spark plug wire
order.
